These must extend past the seam—if cut too short, they will recoil inside and the ruffle will lose its structure. This is intentional and not a defect. If a customer feels it is necessary, the threads may be trimmed slightly (leaving at least ½" past the seam), but Lunella cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by altering the garment*
